TECHNICAL NOTES: LIGHTING FOR THIS JOB WAS SO SIMPLE. WE USED AVAILABLE LIGHT OBVIOUSLY WITH A SLOW SHUTTER TO ALLOW THE MOVEMENT IN THE EXTRAS. THEN FILLED THE WHOLE SPACE WITH AN ELICHROME 6 FT OCTA.

Photography notes:
The technique used here was basically created by using a mixer of flash and ambient light. The ambient light was created using a gel on a kino tube. Flash was front 3/4 and the cyc was left to fall of to grey. Settings were 1/4 sec at F11.
The team and I were commissioned to shoot the cast of Home & Away for their annual magazine.

I was asked to shoot the cast from Home and Away for their annual magazine. I think I ended up shooting 50% of the photos and I really enjoyed this job mainly because everyone was genuinely very nice.

Technical notes from the shoot
All the lighting used for this shoot was available, the interior shots were exposed at 1000 iso on the Canon 1dx and the yellow was lifted slightly from the skin tones in Capture One. Simple is always better.
